According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica are interested in 17-year-old forward Razvan Marincean. They are said to have lodged an offer that could rise to 1 million euros based on objectives.
An initial bid is around 400,000 euros, with add-ons taking it to the maximum if the Romania youth international meets pre-agreed targets.
Marincean made his senior debut for Farul Constanța on 3 November 2025 at 16. He became the first player born in 2009 and developed at the Hagi Academy to feature in Romania’s top flight.
Regarded as one of the standout talents of his age group, he played a key role in Romania’s qualification for the 2026 Under-17 World Cup. The tournament starts on 19 November in Qatar.
The young attacker is among the latest products of the renowned Hagi Academy, founded by former international Gheorghe Hagi. Hagi is remembered as one of Romania’s greats, notably for his impact at the 1994 World Cup.
