Benfica ‘to sign’ Eurico Cunha on 2029 deal, loan to Torreense planned | OneFootball

Benfica are set to add 19-year-old futsal goalkeeper Eurico Cunha, a former Sporting youth player.

Zerozero reports he will sign a contract with Benfica running to 2029 and join in the coming weeks. A loan to Torreense is planned to gain minutes and continue his development.

He represented AMSAC last season in the II Divisão, gaining experience and now set for an important step in his career.

Cunha helped Portugal win the Under-19 European Championship in 2025, starting all five matches in the victorious campaign.

While official confirmation is awaited, Benfica’s first team focus on Sunday’s decisive Liga Nacional de Futsal play-off final against Sporting, scheduled for 20:00 at Pavilhão Fidelidade. They are chasing back-to-back titles for the first time since their three-peat from 2006/07 to 2008/09.
