Benjamin Pavard announces Marseille departure after Inter loan, says he leaves with memory of a united dressing room

Benjamin Pavard will leave Marseille after his loan from Inter Milan.

The player said in a social media post that a page was turning with Olympique de Marseille, that wearing the shirt was a powerful experience in his career and life, and that he always tried to give everything while representing the club with respect and commitment.

Marseille did not activate the €15m purchase option in his deal.

The French defender, 30, joined at the very end of the last summer transfer window.

The message also spoke of departing with emotions and lessons and recalled a dressing room that stayed united to the end. It included thanks to the club, staff, team-mates and supporters, along with well wishes to OM for the future.
