Besiktas complete Jota Silva signing

Nottingham Forest’s forward Jota Silva has completed a move to Besiktas on a season-long loan.

The Turkish Super Lig side have the option to make the 26-year-old’s switch permanent once the campaign comes to an end.

The Portugal international,joined Forest from Vitoria SC in August 2024 on a four-year deal.

Last season, he featured in 38 games across all competitions, scoring four goals and registering three assists.

The move was agreed for an initial €2.5 million, with the option to make the transfer permanent set at €17 million, which would bring the total to €19.5 million. It’s worth noting that the English club paid around €10 million to Vitória SC for the player just over a year ago.
