Well stocked in the goalkeeping position with arguably keeper of the 2020/21 European season in Keylor Navas and the new arrival EURO 2020 Player of The tournament Gianluigi Donnarumma in competition for a starting place with experienced keeper Alexandre Letellier for support, Sergio Rico’s position at PSG seems to have evaporated this summer.
As such the former Sevilla keeper, who joined Paris last summer for €6m, is receiving interest from Turkish giants Besiktas according to L’Équipe. The 27-year-old is under contract until 2024 and would like to stay in Paris where he is close friends with Navas and part of a large Spanish speaking contingent. Besiktas are one of a number of clubs keen on the keeper who is still yet to fully commit to a move.
