Besiktas make enquiries over Lucas Chevalier amid uncertainty at PSG

According to L'Équipe, Besiktas have made enquiries in recent days about Lucas Chevalier as uncertainty persists over his PSG future.

The French goalkeeper is on holiday and is waiting to learn the Paris hierarchy’s plans for next season. Other clubs are using the pause to gauge his intentions and position themselves.

Besiktas, who want a high-profile goalkeeper, have sounded out the situation, though any deal could be difficult to conclude.

Even if he were to leave PSG, and despite the sizeable wages on offer at the biggest Istanbul clubs, Chevalier would likely favour a more appealing project. He is 24 and under contract until 2030.

Tottenham, also seeking a goalkeeper, made a similar approach a few weeks ago.
