According to Kicker, the second instalment of its summer rankings names the Bundesliga’s standout full-backs based on performances in the second half of the 2025/26 season.

International Class is led by Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson, followed by Bayer Leverkusen’s Alex Grimaldo and FC Bayern’s Konrad Laimer.

National Class, in order, features Vladimir Coufal of Hoffenheim, Maximilian Mittelstädt of Stuttgart, David Raum of RB Leipzig, Josip Stanisic of FC Bayern, Nathaniel Brown, then of Eintracht Frankfurt and now of FC Bayern, and Philipp Treu of Freiburg.

The magazine updates these position-by-position rankings every six months, also assessing top German players based abroad.
