According to Superdeporte, LaLiga has reached four matchdays without a dismissal, but a group of experienced free agents is available. After Corberán’s sacking, Valencia could consider one of them.

Ernesto Valverde tops the list. The 62-year-old is unattached after a long stint with Athletic Club and previously managed Barcelona and Valencia. He averages 1.77 points across 595 matches.

Marcelino García Toral has just finished at Villarreal and boasts a deep top-flight track record. His LaLiga average is 1.63 points, with 479 matches in Primera.

Javier Aguirre, 67, is free after leaving the Mexico job. He has overseen 466 LaLiga games with Atlético de Madrid, Espanyol, Osasuna and Mallorca, averaging 1.51 points.
