Bethany England made another appearance at the Tottenham Foundation this week, showing her continued support for the project during her time away from the pitch.
The Spurs captain has once again showed just how much she cares about the club with her continued community work shining through.
There aren’t many captains in the WSL as involved as Bethany England is for Tottenham.
The 31-year-old made her third appearance at the Tottenham Foundation in the last three months this week.
Speaking while at the foundation, England described her pride at being able to help with her team.
“My family has gone through a lot of hardship with cancer, and so if I am in a position where I am able to give back, that is exactly what I am going to do.” England said. “The Foundation have so many different programmes and areas that they support in the community, I cannot think of anything better than giving back to people going through hardship.”
Clare said: “It is wonderful to be here with Bethany and see the impact that the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation has had in the community. It is great to be here, meet new people and I am keen to continue working with the Foundation to support others.”
Clare Hunt joined England on Wednesday afternoon at the foundation, with the first team showing their continued support for the project.
It isn’t just off the pitch that Spurs are impressing fans as on the field they have been exceptional this season.
Although we are just over halfway through the season, Tottenham have already eclipsed their points tally from last year.
Martin Ho’s team have been firing on all cylinders and are well in contention to fight it out for a spot in the top four.
There are just four points separating Spurs in fifth and Chelsea in second. The top four hopefuls face West Ham this weekend and they will be expecting to take home three points against a relegation threatened side.
With Arsenal not playing this weekend due to their Champions Cup involvement, Tottenham have a chance to go level on points with their bitter rivals.
Following their clash against the Hammers, Spurs play Chelsea in a London derby that could make or break their ambitions of a top four finish.
