Barcelona are heading into a difficult few weeks with a team depleted by a series of injuries, especially in attack and midfield.
The likes of Dani Olmo, Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres, after all, have picked up fresh knocks and are practically ruled out against Real Madrid later this month.
However, in a rare boost for Barcelona, it appears their star player, Raphinha, has made some huge strides in his bid to return to full fitness.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Raphinha’s recovery from a hamstring injury in his right leg has progressed positively after a recent MRI scan showed encouraging results.
The Brazilian winger suffered the setback during the match against Oviedo earlier this month, with the club initially estimating a three-week absence.
That timeline is now coming to an end, yet Raphinha has not fully returned to group training, which is an indication that Barcelona are taking a cautious approach with his rehabilitation.

Despite that, there is optimism that he will be ready in time for the El Clasico clash against Real Madrid on October 26.
The report adds that the follow-up scan conducted on Thursday confirmed that the muscle is healing well, with no further complications.
There is even a small chance that the winger could make the squad list for next Tuesday’s Champions League fixture against Olympiacos if the medical staff clear him. He is, however, ruled out for the Girona clash.
However, the coaching and medical teams agree that the priority is to have Raphinha fully fit for the Clasico.
The current plan is to ease him back into action, with Hansi Flick likely to keep him as an option from the bench should the situation demand it.
