Arsenal now reportedly look to have officially entered the race for the transfer of Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, according to Turkish sources.
The Nigeria international has been at Galatasaray on loan from Napoli this season, and has performed well as usual, with more rumours about bigger clubs always seeming inevitable.
It now seems Arsenal are a serious team to watch out for in the race for Osimhen, with the Gunners said to have moved ahead of Manchester United in the race for the 26-year-old’s signature.
See below as Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu explains that Arsenal are now emerging as a serious option for Osimhen…
Osimhen would undoubtedly be an exciting addition for Arsenal as they search for a new striker for next season, with Mikel Arteta desperately in need of upgrades on the likes of Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.
Osimhen is not the only name being linked with Arsenal ahead of this summer, and we’re bound to see plenty of speculation about this position that the north London giants clearly need to strengthen in.

CaughtOffside have been told that Arsenal are exploring a move for Dusan Vlahovic, while the Mirror and others have linked AFC with RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.
Some fans may well feel, however, that Osimhen is the most exciting name out there, and Man Utd supporters would surely also dearly love to see their club sign him.
The Red Devils need more fire-power up front after poor seasons from both Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund, while Marcus Rashford’s future also looks in doubt after going out on loan to Aston Villa.
Osimhen’s situation means he’s sure to continue to attract interest, and it will be interesting to see if Arsenal can indeed remain ahead of United in the race to sign him this summer.
