One player who could well move on is Federico Chiesa. The Italian has never fit in under Slot, with limited minutes over the last near-18 months.
That's despite some very, very promising performances, too. But Slot just doesn't appear to fancy Chiesa and that's a massive problem in what's a World Cup year.
TuttoJuve report that there's now a lot of interest in Chiesa from Italy as clubs look to take advantage of the situation. AS Roma, Inter and AC Milan are all hopeful of signing him.
Though, that depends on Chiesa's actual plans. It's assumed that he'll jump to a new club if there's truly no chance of breaking in at Liverpool, but it's pretty clear that he will take every opportunity he can at Anfield.
The interest from Serie A clubs was very much there in the summer, after all, but Chiesa rejected chances to leave. He may well decide to do the same in January if he's unwilling to give up on his dream just yet.
But this is unquestionably one to watch. Liverpool will look to reshape and try new things - though, that could always mean actually playing Chiesa.
If not, there are three clubs in Italy who are, according to the report, ready with offers.
