Birmingham City will again be without Marvin Ducksch for Saturday’s Championship clash with Bristol City.

Ducksch has returned to training after missing the entirety of pre-season with injury, but is still building up his fitness ahead of a potential return.

“Marvin has trained this week and is looking better than he has been, he’s definitely fit and building up his training,” said Davies.

Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Marc Leonard are also set to miss out again.

Meanwhile, Davies has also not given up hope of bringing Ibrahim Osman back to the club.

“I haven’t heard anything different,” Davies said. “I’m a big fan, he did great for us. He’s obviously made a positive impression back there at Brighton.

“I don’t know definitively until the window shuts, you never quite know, but he’s definitely a player that did really well and we’ll see how it goes in the next 10 days.”
