A trio of Championship clubs have their sights set on a January move for the UCD talent
Hull City, Wrexham and Birmingham City are all monitoring UCD’s attacking midfielder Adam Brennan ahead of the January transfer window.
According to Football Insider, the 18-year-old has a number of clubs in England chasing his signature following an impressive campaign in the First Division in Ireland.
The teenager contributed nine goals from 28 appearances in the second tier of Irish football, with UCD finishing fourth.
Brennan played a key role in the club reaching a play-off place, but they were unable to earn promotion to the Premier Division with a semi-final defeat to Bray Wanderers.
Now the youngster’s time at the Dublin outfit could be set to come to an end, with a number of teams scouting the Irishman.

Hull reportedly invited Brennan to train at the club in November ahead of a potential move in the January transfer window.
The Tigers will be hoping that their close relationship with UCD will help them to secure a deal for the 18-year-old, who could be the third arrival from the First Division side in the last 12 months.
However, they face competition from Championship rivals Wrexham and Birmingham, with the duo also casting an eye on the youngster.
Crystal Palace are also reportedly interested in Brennan, but it remains to be seen whether any official offers will be made ahead of the winter market.
The January window will open in a few weeks, and it could prove a very busy period of the campaign for all four clubs.
Hull are currently ninth in the Championship table following a 4-1 loss to Middlesbrough last Friday, while Wrexham are 12th and Birmingham are eighth.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace moved up to fourth in the Premier League table with a late 2-1 win over Fulham on Sunday evening.

Brennan won’t be ready for life in the Premier League, or even the Championship, if he makes the move to England in January.
However, he is a young player with a lot of potential and is someone that could prove quite a shrewd signing in the years to come.
Hull’s relationship with UCD is now established, and that connection should give them an advantage in the race to sign Brennan in the new year.
However, Birmingham, Wrexham and Palace can all offer quite exciting and ambitious projects, so it is far from a done deal that the teenager will move to the MKM Stadium when the window opens next month.
