Crystal Palace sign Spurs defender Bartrip | OneFootball

Crystal Palace have completed the permanant signing of defender Molly Bartrip from Tottenham Hotspur.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official media update from The Eagles this afternoon.

The 30-year-old centre-back has signed a three-year deal with Crystal Palace while the South Londoners have paid an undisclosed fee to Spurs to secure the player’s services.

Bartrip spent five years with Spurs in which she made 114 appearances for the club in all competitions. The defender was an Adobe Women’s FA Cup finalist with the club in 2023/2024.

Bartrip started her senior playing career at former top tier side Reading. She helped The Royals gain promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League and played a key role in the Berkshire side staying there for several seasons.

On the international stage, Bartrip has represented England at various youth levels up to and including Under-23 level.

After joining Crystal Palace, Bartrip said “It feels amazing to join Crystal Palace.

“The building’s incredible, the people that I’ve met have been so warm, and I’m really excited to be here.”

Bartrip is Crystal Palace’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window. The defender joins former Spurs teammate Beth England at Selhurst Park this summer.
