Birmingham City's 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers at St Andrew's on Wednesday lifts the hosts from 13th to 10th in the Championship, as Patrick Roberts' early finish settled it and Rangers slipped to 18th.

In the sixth minute, Patrick Roberts swept in from the centre of the area after Ibrahim Osman's set-up, giving the hosts a lead they would not relinquish.
