The FA has confirmed Leeds United’s FA Cup fourth-round trip to Birmingham City will be played on Sunday 15th February at 12pm, after a switch from a 2pm kick-off the day before. The match will be shown live in the UK on TNT Sports 3 and on the Discovery+ app.

United reached round four for the fourth consecutive season with a 3-1 win at Derby County, overturning Ben Brereton Diaz’s 35th-minute opener. Second-half goals from Wilfried Gnonto, Ao Tanaka and James Justin sealed progress.

Birmingham, 14th in the Championship, are also in round four for the fourth straight year after a 3-2 victory at Cambridge United. They led 3-0 before seeing off a late rally from the League Two side.

Before the Derby tie, Daniel Farke spoke of aiming for a deep run while accepting winning a major competition is not realistic for a promoted side. He said his team have shown they can beat top opponents in quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.

The clubs last met in January 2024, when Leeds won 3-0 at Elland Road through Patrick Bamford, Daniel James and Crysencio Summerville. Leeds have three wins in the last four meetings, though they lost 1-0 at St Andrew’s in August 2023 to a Lukas Jutkiewicz penalty.

Their most recent FA Cup tie was in January 2013, a 1-1 draw at Elland Road followed by a 2-1 comeback win for Leeds in the replay at St Andrew’s. Ross McCormack and El Hadji Diouf scored in that game.
