Bayern Munich have reportedly suffered a blow in the race to sign Marc Guehi.
The England defender has a contract at Selhurst Park until the end of the season, and Crystal Palace have decided to cash in on him.
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but it appears that they have suffered a blow in the race here.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Guehi is on his way to joining Manchester City.
The Citizens have submitted an offer in the region of £20m for the defender, and Palace have accepted the offer.
Romano adds that Guehi has also accepted the move, and the transfer is expected to go through. Guehi has been a key player for the Eagles, but it was sensible to sell him now rather than lose him for free.
The news will come as a huge blow to Liverpool, who were close to signing him in the summer window, only for the deal to collapse in the 11th hour on deadline day.
The Reds surprisingly did not make a move for him in January to secure a cut-price deal.
Bayern did show interest in Guehi, especially when fear crept in that they might lose Dayot Upamecano for free next summer.
However, after agreeing on a deal for Upamecano (though not officially confirmed yet), it became clear that the Bavarian giants would only try to get him in the summer for free.
Max Eberl reportedly made calls to convince Guehi to move to Bayern next summer, but Guehi was always one of many options for the club.
Christian Falk told CFBayern that Bayern could move for Guehi if they sell Kim Min-jae.
The Bild journalist informed us that Bayern plan to use Josip Stanisic as a centre-back for next season as a back-up option.
They are likely to move for Givairo Read next summer to add more depth at full-back, which should solve many problems.
Thus, it may not be a huge blow for Bayern than it is for Liverpool.
