After enjoying a phenomenal 2024-24 campaign at Bayern Munich, Michael Olise has carried on from where he left off last season.
Liverpool are one of his strong admirers, and the Premier League champions have been watching him very closely.
The Reds, however, are not alone in the race, with the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid are also reportedly vying for his signature.

The Reds are going through a bad patch at the moment, losing four games in a row, and they have bigger issues to focus on.
It has been suggested that, despite spending heavily on Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak, and Hugo Ekitike, Liverpool will need another left-footed winger in 2026, possibly with the view to finding a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Christian Falk told CFBayern last month that Liverpool are watching Olise closely, with the Frenchman definitely high up on their wish list.
Olise has a contract at Allianz Arena until 2029, and Bayern are already planning to offer him a lucrative new deal until 2031.
Max Eberl has confirmed that Olise does not have a release clause in his contract at Bayern, meaning the German giants can set a high transfer fee for the attacker if Liverpool, Man City or Real Madrid come calling.
The news will come as a blow for the Reds, as they will get the impression that Bayern are not going to sell him unless they receive a ridiculous offer.
The Frenchman has been ‘sensational’ for the Bavarian giants, having contributed 35 goals in 51 appearances in his first season at the club across all competitions.
Olise has managed five goals and four assists in all competitions for Bayern this season already, and while it is still some way short of what Harry Kane has been doing at the club, the numbers (and the performances) are pretty impressive.
Put simply, the former Crystal Palace winger is going nowhere.
