A manager who is part of Chelsea’s BlueCo enterprise has said that his players must do what he says, otherwise he will find new ones.

It sounds like a stern bit of tough love after they failed to win at home over the weekend and stay 7th in their league.

EXCL: The full inside story of what is going on between Enzo Maresca and the Chelsea hierarchy as tensions reach boiling point!

For once, I am not talking about Enzo Maresca here either.

We are of course speaking on Strasbourg head coach Liam Rosenior after his side drew 0-0 with Lorient on Sunday afternoon in their latest game.

Rosenior has generally been doing very well at Strasbourg and they have been pushing on in the league. But they would like to be in a better position right now, even still.

Some strict words from the gaffer

Liam Rosenior in a Strasbourg press conference.

After the game, Rosenior has clearly been disappointed with set pieces from his side this season and seems to suggest that they players are not doing what he is telling them to do and also, they are missing Andrey Santos, who was of course at Strasbourg last season but is now back at Chelsea.

Rosenior says:

“He [Andrey Santos] is missed, he was huge on set pieces. Today, there are unacceptable things on corners, free kicks. My players must do what I ask. Otherwise, we’ll find others.”

Chelsea are apparently the frontrunners to sign one player who has played just 183 minutes so far this season, according to the latest transfer report out over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca has been warned to keep his mouth shut by one BBC pundit this week following comments he made after the Everton game on Saturday.
