Permanent move to English Championship club

Bobby Clark, who was on loan at Derby County last season, is leaving FC Red Bull Salzburg and joining the English Championship club permanently.

The former Liverpool player arrived in Salzburg in the summer of 2024 and made 25 appearances in his first season with our Red Bulls (scoring one goal and providing two assists). The following season, the English midfielder returned to his homeland and, on loan at Derby County in 2025/26, made 45 appearances (with four goals and four assists).

Bobby had a good season at Derby County and is clearly happy there. After several discussions with him, it was clear that a return to England made perfect sense, also for FC Red Bull Salzburg. We wish him all the best and every success in the future!
