Boca Juniors are close to sealing their first signing for 2026, Colombia winger Marino Hinestroza. According to SuperDepor.com, an agreement is in place with Atlético Nacional, with only formalities to complete.

Boca are set to pay close to five million dollars for his registration. The 23-year-old is expected to sign a four-year deal running to the end of 2029.

Hinestroza hinted at the move on Instagram, posting a black image with blue and gold heart emojis and an hourglass.

The club, led by Juan Román Riquelme, plan for him to fly to Buenos Aires on 26 December. On arrival he is scheduled to undergo a medical and sign, then join pre-season with the squad on two January.

Boca will continue to work in the market to strengthen the squad. Names under consideration include Santiago Ascacibar of Estudiantes, Alan Lescano of Argentinos Juniors, Gabriel Rojas of Racing Club, Gastón Hernández of San Lorenzo and Ignacio Vázquez of Platense.
