Boca Juniors are on alert after Changuito Zeballos felt discomfort and left training at the Ezeiza base.
According to LaNumer12.com.ar, the forward may have an injury and is undergoing tests to determine the extent.
It was the squad’s second session of the week before Sunday’s visit to Vélez in Liniers. Zeballos felt pain during the opening phase while the group did physical drills. He stopped immediately and was attended to by medical staff.
Claudio Úbeda’s staff sent him for tests. The club will wait for the medical report to learn if he can train tomorrow and be available to face El Fortín.
There is concern he could be a significant loss for matchday four of the Torneo Apertura 2026. He could also miss other important games depending on the diagnosis.
The match is set for Sunday eight February at the Estadio José Amalfitani, with kick-off at 22:15.
Nazareno Arasa will referee, with Facundo Rodríguez and Miguel Savorani as assistants. Maximiliano Macheroni is the fourth official, and the VAR team will be Nicolás Ramírez and Javier Delbarba.
TNT Sports Premium will broadcast the fixture, available to viewers with the Pack Fútbol add-on.
