Boca Juniors are reported to have made Olympique de Marseille goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli (34) their top target for the summer transfer window, according to TyC Sports.

Valued at around €9 million by the Marseille management, the Argentine goalkeeper, whose contract expires in 2027, is said to have already shown interest in the prospect of playing for the Argentine club. However, the possibility of him seeing out the final year of his contract and then joining his former club, Estudiantes, on a free transfer next summer cannot be ruled out. An offer from Tottenham Hotspur could also be on the cards.

In any case, this would still be a costly move for Boca, although OM’s need to reduce its wage bill this summer could work in their favour.

And should the Xeneize be unable to complete the deal, players such as Lanús’ Nahuel Losada (33), Vélez’s Álvaro Montero (31) and SC Internacional’s Sergio Rochet (33) would also be under consideration.
