Boca continues to move in the transfer market where it has yet to announce any new signings and all the news so far has been about departures. In this context, the sudden departure of Luis Advíncula has been confirmed. This exit opens the door for Lucas Blondel to have a second chance.

The termination of Luis Advíncula's contract, by mutual agreement with the management led by Juan Román Riquelme, took everyone by surprise. Although a possible departure was looming, the Peruvian had started preseason with the team and had decided to stay at the club despite offers from his home country. With his departure, Lucas Blondel could have a second opportunity in the team managed by Claudio Úbeda. Although the coach prefers Juan Barinaga, the former Tigre player would become the first alternative, and with so much competition ahead, it is very likely he will get some playing time.

Blondel was one of those sidelined by the Xeneize coach and was even close to leaving for Argentinos Juniors. The team from Victoria was one of the clubs that requested him on loan, in addition to Tigre and an interest from Racing to buy his rights.
