Boca will face São Paulo in the Copa Sudamericana 2026 quarter-finals after sweeping past Deportivo Recoleta 7-1 on aggregate. According to SuperDepor.com, the Argentinian side moved into the last eight under head coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena.
Boca won 3-1 in Buenos Aires then completed the job with a 4-0 victory in Paraguay.
São Paulo booked their place by beating Bolívar 3-1 at home in the return leg, overturning a first-leg draw at altitude in La Paz to seal a 4-2 aggregate.
The Tricolor advanced straight to the knockouts as Group C winners ahead of Millonarios, O'Higgins and Boston River, a finish that guarantees they host the second leg in the quarters.
The first leg will be staged at the Estadio Alberto J. Armando, La Bombonera, between 8 and 10 September. The return at the Estadio Morumbí is scheduled between 15 and 17 September.
