Boca and Banfield will contest their Copa Argentina 2026 semi-final on Saturday 14 November, during the international window, with kick-off time and venue still to be confirmed. According to SuperDepor.com, the tie has been set after a delay.
The calendar had been held up by Boca's run across multiple fronts at the end of the season. The final was initially planned for four November, but organisers reworked the closing rounds.
The FIFA window runs from nine to 17 November, so Boca could face Banfield without players away with their national teams. A similar issue arose in the quarter-final against Racing when Colombian goalkeeper Álvaro Montero was unavailable due to a call-up.
The other semi-final, Atlético Tucumán v Platense, is scheduled for Saturday 28 November, with Platense advancing after knocking out Estudiantes. The final is now set for Wednesday two December.
Despite a crowded programme, Boca will not clash with their Copa Sudamericana commitments. They play Vasco da Gama in the semi-finals on 13 and 20 October, well clear of the Banfield date. Boca also remain in contention to reach the Torneo Clausura play-offs.
