Indonesian rescue teams have found the body of Fernando Martín Carreras, the Spanish coach of Valencia’s women’s team, missing since 26 December after a tourist boat sank.

The Hey Bali News reports that the body was located at 8.47am local time by a maritime police RIB, KPJ 2007, about 2 kilometres from the KM Putri Sakinah wreck site near Rinca.

The recovery is the second in the area, after a 12-year-old girl from the Valencian family was found on Monday. The remains were taken to Labuan Bajo for forensic identification. Officials are awaiting confirmation, though the family has confirmed the identity.

The tour boat sank off Padar island, within Komodo National Park. An initial search with small boats was later expanded.

There were 11 people on board, including a Spanish family of two adults and four children, plus four crew and a local guide. Two, a woman and a girl, were rescued.

Of the four missing, search teams have recovered the father and one daughter. Two children, aged nine and 10, remain unaccounted for, with searches to continue for three more days.
