FLW's Bolton fan pundit has named the one young player he is most excited about at the club

Bolton Wanderers are aiming to earn promotion to the Championship this year after coming close on previous occasions.
Steven Schumacher is in charge of his first full season with the League One side, having been appointed as manager earlier this year.
He oversaw a 10th place finish in the table in the previous campaign, but will now be hoping that the side he’s put together can go a step further and at least earn a top six finish.
Schumacher’s side is quite young, with only two players in the squad currently over the age of 30, with a lot of important parts of the team under 23.
Bolton will be hoping that they can produce the next bright young star that can help them bridge the gap to top teams in the third division.
When asked who the next big thing at the club is, FLW’s Bolton fan pundit Liam O’Meara named Max Conway.
He also noted Arsenal loanee Amario Cozier-Duberry as an exciting talent, but suggested Conway has done well to make the left-back spot his own since returning from loan.
“In terms of wonderkid, no one springs to mind,” O’Meara told Football League World.
“Max Conway has had a very good start to first team exposure at Bolton.
“He had a very successful loan in League Two last year and has come into the Bolton Wanderers first team and started every game I think at left-back and he’s looked of the standard, so that’s been very encouraging.
“Bolton are looking to get him tied up with a longer term deal, so there is something there.
“What his ceiling is, I don’t know, I think wonderkid might be pushing it.
“But, it’s been very encouraging and hopefully he’ll kick on and make that left-back his own at a decent sized football club in League One, so that is encouraging.
“Amario Cozier-Duberry is very much one to watch.
“He is a loan player, so he isn’t our wonderkid, but he really could kick on and I’m very, very surprised he’s playing League One football and I think he might not be doing it for very long.”
Bolton are currently 12th in the League One table after the opening eight games of the new campaign.
The Whites have earned 11 points from a possible 24, leaving them already six points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
A run of five draws in their last six games has put them four points behind sixth place, but with a lot of the campaign still to come.
Up next for Schumacher’s side is a home game against Wigan Athletic on 20 September in a 12.30pm kick-off.
Bolton have built quite a young side, so it’s not too surprising that they’re struggling for consistent form at the moment.
But players like Conway coming through into the first team will excite supporters regardless, and the potential is there for this squad to hit the ground running at some point.
Cozier-Duberry could also prove key to their promotion push, provided he remains at the club for the entire season.
