The Trotters were quick to rub it in after completing a miraculous comeback on Thursday night

Bolton Wanderers produced one of the most remarkable comebacks on Thursday night away at Huddersfield Town, going from a goal down heading into second-half stoppage time to leaving with all three points by the end of the game.

Amario Cozier-Duberry will get plenty of plaudits for his role in completing the turnaround, as he was involved in both goals and scored the winner, but the header from Sam Dalby at the end of the Brighton and Hove Albion loanee's cross was picture-perfect and kick-started the comeback.

Huddersfield had led since the seventh minute at the Accu Stadium, thanks to a header from Leo Castledine, and the Terriers praised the finish on their official X account midway through the first half.

Bolton had to endure a frustrating game with plenty of missed chances before being able to feel the jubilation of three points, and they made sure to take a little dig at their opponents when commenting on Dalby's headed equaliser.

Understandably, there wasn't much time between the two goals for Bolton's X admin to highlight the quality of them, and the celebrations which followed delayed them until the following day.

However, the Trotters were able to make a small jibe at their beaten opposition, posting a separate angle of Dalby's header with an identical caption to the one Huddersfield had posted during the game: "Some nod, that."

The celebrations behind the goal were massive, and Thursday night will definitely go down as one that everyone associated with Bolton won't forget any time soon.

Bolton are clearly revelling in their first away win of the season, and in doing so, perhaps stoking the fire between the two ahead of their meeting in the FA Cup first round in a few weeks.

Bolton Wanderers leave it late to pick up a huge away win

The celebrations may have been over the top, according to some, but in truth, the win meant a lot more than the usual late comeback does, as this goes down as Bolton's first three points away from the Toughsheet Community Stadium this season.

Bolton had been desperate for their away form to match their home, and they'll be hoping that the performance at the Accu Stadium could be a sign of things to come on their travels for the rest of the campaign.

Despite a dire away record, the Trotters were still in arm's reach of the top six, and the win over Huddersfield put them a point behind the play-offs, albeit before everyone else plays this weekend.

Therefore, if Bolton can keep up their impressive home form and produce more of the same away, Steven Schumacher's side could find themselves closing in on a place in the top six sooner rather than later.
