Booba ruled out of Senegal v Peru show with serious injury

Booba will not perform at the Senegal v Peru show at the Stade de France after a serious injury from a recent sporting accident, the Senegalese federation announced on its social channels.

He had been due on Saturday to appear alongside Youssou N'Dour as part of the pre-match programme for the friendly, scheduled for 17:00.

The celebrations planned to honour the Lions of Teranga will therefore be without one of their headline acts.

The event is limited to fans inside the Stade de France. The game is sold out, with capacity capped at 70,000, and has no French broadcaster after the federation's tender proved unsuccessful in France.

The match will be broadcast on Senegalese channel RTS1 and the US network FOX Deportes.
