José Bordalás challenged Ángel Torres’ pre-match claim that Getafe’s squad was tight but complete after two signings, saying the group is short and that recruitment was not handled well.

The head coach spoke after a 1-1 draw with Celta Vigo at the Coliseum, a point earned despite the 67th-minute dismissal of Zaid Romero, which he regarded as dubious. As reported by Superdeporte, he framed the result as positive in the circumstances.

On refereeing, Bordalás said his teams habitually compete with intensity but without aggressive actions, and he felt recent dismissals were not entirely fair. In his view, Getafe are not being treated in the same way as others.
