‘Born to play here’ – Another Real Madrid star provides his take on Kylian Mbappé’s arrival | OneFootball

A long-time member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Saturday revealed his delight with the arrival of Kylian Mbappé at the club.

The week to date, of course, has seen the name of frontman Mbappé dominate the headlines across Spanish football.

This comes with the 25-year-old having at long last been unveiled as a Real Madrid player in front of the club’s adoring fanbase.

The transfer was made official last month, but is widely considered to have been years in the making, with Mbappé, across his early exchanges with the media, having made clear that landing at the Santiago Bernabéu was a lifelong ambition.

And one player who appears to be in agreement that the France international was nothing short of destined to line out for Real Madrid at some point in his career comes in the form of Lucas Vázquez.

Full-back Vázquez is for his part fresh off penning fresh terms in the Spanish capital, which will see him stay put for a further 12 months at the least.

And, drawn on the subject of his new teammate in the aftermath of his extension being made official, the 32-year-old, speaking to Real Madrid TV, went on to explain:

“Kylian is a special player, one of those who was born to play for Real Madrid. We have an exciting year ahead of us. We added a lot of talent to what we already had. Having Mbappé is something incredible and we are going to enjoy a lot this season and above all win titles.”
