Barcelona’s pursuit of Karim Adeyemi has entered a new phase, with Borussia Dortmund identifying three Barcelona players who could become part of the negotiations.
According to journalist Gerard Romero, the Bundesliga club has expressed interest in Roony Bardghji, Hector Fort and Marc Casado as discussions over Adeyemi’s future continue.
The Barcelona transfer news suggests that while the two clubs are still some distance apart in their valuations regarding the German, negotiations remain active and creative solutions are already being explored.
One option under consideration is the inclusion of a player to lower the overall cost of signing the Borussia Dortmund winger.
Barcelona have already made their opening move for Adeyemi by submitting an offer worth €20 million upfront, along with a sizeable percentage of any future transfer fee.
Although the proposal has not yet resulted in an agreement, talks between the clubs are expected to continue over the coming days.

According to Romero, Borussia Dortmund have now responded by expressing interest in three members of Barcelona’s squad, namely, Roony Bardghji, Hector Fort and Marc Casado.
The German club’s interest is understood to be linked directly to the Karim Adeyemi Barcelona transfer, with Dortmund exploring whether one of those players could be included in the deal to bridge the gap between the two clubs’ valuations.
Personal terms are not expected to be an issue, as Adeyemi has already agreed on the conditions of a move to Camp Nou and reportedly wants Barcelona to be his next destination.
Each of the three Barcelona players linked with Borussia Dortmund arrives with a different situation heading into the new season.
Roony Bardghji has been on Dortmund’s radar for several months, with the Bundesliga side previously showing interest in the winger earlier in the transfer window.

His long-term future at Barcelona remains unresolved, making him a realistic option if negotiations accelerate.
Hector Fort, on his part, has recently returned from his loan spell at Elche and is expected to begin pre-season under Hansi Flick.
However, competition for places at right-back remains intense, meaning Barcelona could consider using the academy graduate as part of a deal if it helps secure Adeyemi’s arrival.
Lastly, Casado’s situation is perhaps the most intriguing. The midfielder is widely expected to leave Barcelona this summer, with clubs from Saudi Arabia monitoring his situation.
Dortmund’s interest, however, could present him with an attractive alternative, allowing him to remain in European football and continue competing in the UEFA Champions League.
