Bournemouth complete the signing of Hungary midfielder Alex Tóth | OneFootball

AFC Bournemouth have completed the signing of 20-year-old Hungary international Alex Tóth.

The midfielder came through the academy at Budapest-based side Ferencváros and 54 games for the club in total, scoring four times and making 13 assists.

Alex Tóth's performances earned him a call up to the national team with the player making his debut back in March 2025.

"It feels amazing to be a part of this club and I am excited to achieve good things," Tóth said on signing for the Cherries.

"When I knew AFC Bournemouth were first interested in me, I was excited and happy because this is a good club in the Premier League, the best league in the world and the strongest league.

"The whole club, the whole structure is great. When I was speaking to the directors, it was quite obvious for me because they were such good guys. I am really looking forward to achieving great things and making good results with this team."

Bournemouth are reported to be paying £10.4 million for the player who has signed a contract until the end of the 2030/31 season.
