Bournemouth have completed the signing of Spanish right-back Juanlu Sánchez from Sevilla, with the defender becoming the club's third arrival of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old has signed a long-term contract until 2031 after the Cherries agreed a deal worth an initial £9.4 million, with a further £1.7 million in performance-related add-ons.
Juanlu arrives on the south coast after establishing himself as a regular at Sevilla, making more than 100 senior appearances for the La Liga club, including outings in the UEFA Champions League.
The versatile full-back is expected to become Bournemouth's first-choice right-back after Alex Jimenez's loan move to Fiorentina, while experienced captain Adam Smith is likely to provide cover.
Juanlu also boasts international pedigree, having helped Spain win Olympic gold at the 2024 Paris Games, scoring the decisive goal in the semi-final against Morocco. He joins António Silva and Álvaro Rodríguez as Bournemouth continue to strengthen Marco Rose's squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
