Bournemouth drop points again to draw with Brentford | OneFootball

Brentford's Kevin Schade scored twice as his side came from behind to draw 2-2 away to Bournemouth.

The Cherries have been in winning positions in all four of their Premier League games so far this season but have still yet to claim a win. This time it was Brentford taking the lead before a Bournemouth fightback saw them ahead.

The opening goal came in the 34th minute when the Bees won the ball high up with Yehor Yarmoliuk then swinging in a cross for the right for Shade to head home. Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic got a touch to it but wasn't able to keep it out.

Brentford's lead didn't last long though with Bournemouth equalising four minutes later when Justin Kluivert's low strike found the net.

The home side then took the lead early into the second half when Evanilson laid off the ball for Marcus Tavernier to fire home.

Petrovic may not have been to blame for Brentford's opener but he was at fault for the goal that made it 2-2. Keith Andrews' side pressed high with the pressure resulting in the Serbian passing the ball straight to Schade who lifted it into the net from distance.

In truth, it was Bournemouth who were the better side on the day but new manager Marco Rose will have to wait longer for his first Premier League win.
