Bournemouth host Lincoln in Carabao Cup, Di Gregorio debuts as Kluivert hits 100 | OneFootball

AFC Bournemouth begin their Carabao Cup campaign at Dean Court tonight, hosting Championship side Lincoln City at 7.45pm in the third round. It is the clubs' first meeting in 16 years, when they were in League Two.

Lincoln have knocked out Derby and Blackpool in rounds one and two to reach this stage. The Cherries return home after a draw in the north east.

Michele Di Gregorio makes his Cherries debut. Team news shows eight changes, with James Hill at right back and Juanlu Sanchez among the substitutes.

Hill, Silva and Justin Kluivert keep their places. Kluivert reaches 100 Bournemouth appearances this evening.

Lincoln appear a tall side and could threaten from set pieces. New striker Mikkel Ladefoged, six foot eight, starts after equalising off the bench against Southampton at the weekend.

Ben Gannon-Doak has a chance to impress after being left out of the Europa League squad, with new signing Juanlu Sanchez also omitted. Earlier today, Junior Kroupi was nominated for a Ballon d'Or award.
