Bournemouth fans given prohibited items list for Real Sociedad trip | OneFootball

Real Sociedad and the San Sebastian city council will host about 1,900 Bournemouth supporters at the Reale Arena next week as the club begin their Europa League campaign, with matchday guidance on what can and cannot be taken inside.

Dorset Police’s football unit has circulated the entry policy for away fans. As of earlier this week, 1,700 away tickets had been sold, with the allocation expected to sell out.

Supporters may bring mobile phones, small fold-up umbrellas, small bags, clear plastic water bottles up to 500ml with caps removed, food and non-offensive flags or banners no larger than two metres by three metres.

Prohibited items include knives or weapons, smoke or gas canisters, fireworks, flares or other pyrotechnics. Alcohol, canned drinks, laptops, tablets, drink cartons, glasses, glass bottles, solid containers or flasks are barred, as are dark plastic bottles or dark liquids and water exceeding 500ml.

Also banned are air horns, pushchairs, large-bodied cameras, image or sound recording devices, large bags or suitcases, umbrellas, poles or sticks, lighters and tools. Flags or banners above two metres by three metres, or of an offensive nature, are not permitted.

The Reale Arena is a no smoking venue, including e-cigarettes, and bars inside are card only.
