Bournemouth have lodged a €30 million bid for Galatasaray forward Baris Alper Yılmaz, with Takvim reporting the 25-year-old is their primary target to replace Antoine Semenyo after his move to Manchester City.

Galatasaray are understood to have rejected the proposal and would only consider talks from beyond €40 million. The South Coast club are moving quickly to keep their attacking momentum in the Premier League.

The Istanbul side hold a strong hand, as Yılmaz is under contract until 2028. Interest from Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in Europe has further bolstered his value.

Yılmaz has delivered this season, with 23 appearances in all competitions and 14 goal contributions, five goals and nine assists. He can operate on either wing or as a modern wing-back.

A move to the Premier League would mark a significant step in his career. English clubs are increasingly scouting Türkiye’s market, illustrated by Ferdi Kadıoğlu at Brighton. Whether Bournemouth bridge Galatasaray’s €40 million-plus valuation could shape their January.
