Leeds United visit Bournemouth on Wednesday night with two players ruled out and three listed as doubts, despite a Whites star returning to training.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the fixture was moved from next weekend because of Leeds’ FA Cup run, making a busy week that began with Saturday’s 3-0 win over Wolves. Farke’s side sit eight points above the drop on 39, with five games left, before Sunday’s Wembley semi-final.

Bournemouth, who won 2-1 at Newcastle on Saturday, have not lost in the league since a 3-2 home defeat to Arsenal on Saturday, January three. Both managers spoke on Tuesday and reported no fresh injuries.

Joe Rodon is back in contention after an ankle issue, having returned quicker than expected to feature late against Wolves, with no setback reported. Versatile defender James Justin impressed against Wolves and, with only cramp indicated, is expected to be available. Former Leeds midfielder Tyler Adams has had 45 minutes off the bench in each of Bournemouth’s last two matches, so a start remains under consideration.

Lewis Cook has missed seven games with a hamstring problem and is only partially training, though he could make the bench. Left back Julio Soler, out for 12 matches, is back with the group but was not in the Newcastle squad, so involvement is uncertain. Dan James has rejoined training after an adductor strain before the West Ham cup tie, yet Farke says he needs multiple sessions, making any appearance a surprise.
