High-flying Bournemouth travel to Elland Road on Saturday to face Leeds United in the Premier League.
Andoni Iraola’s team are enjoying their best-ever start to a top-flight season. They currently sit fourth in the table and are unbeaten in their last four matches.
To continue their excellent run, however, the Cherries must overcome a significant historical curse. Elland Road is their unhappiest hunting ground in English football, as they have lost on all seven of their previous league visits. Breaking that hoodoo against a defensively solid Leeds side will be a true test of their top-four credentials.
Andoni Iraola’s squad has been depleted by an injury to long-term absentee Enes Ünal. He also has doubts over captain Adam Smith and former Leeds midfielder Lewis Cook.
The team’s defensive strength has been a key feature this season, with Marcos Senesi’s line-breaking passes crucial to their build-up play from the back. The main attacking threat will come from Antoine Semenyo, who has been involved in five Premier League goals already this season, making him one of the division’s most potent forwards.
Bournemouth predicted XI: Petrović; Hill, Milosavljević, Senesi, Truffert; Adams, Scott; Semenyo, Tavernier, Brooks; Evanilson.
The Premier League fixture will be played at Elland Road on Saturday, 27 September 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 pm BST.
The match will not be broadcast live in the UK due to the 3:00 pm Saturday blackout.
