Leeds United will look to protect their unbeaten home record against Bournemouth on Saturday when they welcome the high-flying Cherries to Elland Road.
The hosts are unbeaten and have yet to concede at home this season in the Premier League. However, they face a stern test against a Bournemouth side enjoying their best-ever start to a top-flight campaign and sitting fourth in the table.
Daniel Farke has a number of fitness concerns, with Jayden Bogle, Daniel James, and Wilfried Gnonto all doubtful. Goalkeeper Lucas Perri also remains out, meaning Karl Darlow will continue in goal. Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the line after scoring his first goal for the club last weekend.
The visitors are without striker Enes Ünal, while former Leeds player Lewis Cook is a doubt with a shoulder problem. Captain Adam Smith also faces a late fitness test. Antoine Semenyo, who has five goal involvements this season, is the team’s main attacking threat.
The Whites ended a three-game goalless run in style with a 3-1 win at Wolves, providing a major confidence boost. Their form at Elland Road has been the foundation of their season. They are unbeaten at home for 12 months and have kept clean sheets in all three home league games so far.
The Cherries are in superb form, sitting fourth in the table and unbeaten in their last four matches. Their success has been built on a newfound defensive solidity, having conceded the second-fewest shots in the Premier League. However, they now visit Elland Road, where they have lost on all seven of their previous league visits.
Leeds United predicted XI: Darlow; Bogle, Rodon, Struijk, Gudmundsson; Stach, Ampadu, Longstaff; Aaronson, Calvert-Lewin, Okafor.
Bournemouth predicted XI: Petrović; Hill, Milosavljević, Senesi, Truffert; Adams, Scott; Semenyo, Tavernier, Brooks; Evanilson.
The match will not be broadcast live in the UK due to the 3:00 pm Saturday blackout.
