Boyle and Wright strike as Hibernian climb to fifth | OneFootball

Hibernian beat Dundee 2-1 at Dens Park to rise from seventh to fifth in the Scottish Premiership.

In the 25th minute, Martin Boyle finished from the centre of the box after Grant Hanley's through ball for Hibs, and VAR confirmed the goal.

Callum Wright then doubled the advantage with a low finish into the bottom left corner (61.), teed up by Felix Passlack.

Dundee's changes sparked a response and Joe Westley headed in from close range after a set piece (83.).

Owen Goodman kept the hosts in it with a string of second half stops, notably denying Jamie McGrath and Boyle. At the other end, Raphael Sallinger saved smartly from Ethan Hamilton late on.

Hibs carried the threat throughout, registering 25 attempts and enjoying 60.6% possession. Dundee produced 11 attempts.

Boyle is now on two league goals, third in the Scottish Premiership scoring chart.
