Westley penalty and Fink header lift Dundee into fourth | OneFootball

Dundee beat Motherwell 2-1 at Dens Park to climb from sixth to fourth in the Scottish Premiership, Joe Westley and Bradley Fink scoring before Alexander Lowry pulled one back.

In the 23rd minute, Westley converted from the spot after VAR confirmed the decision. Fink then glanced in a cross with a tidy header (40.). Lowry halved the deficit with a composed finish (44.).

After the restart, goalkeeper Alex Paulsen kept the visitors in contention with sharp stops from Westley and Ryan Astley. At the other end, Owen Goodman preserved the lead with late saves, including a reflex stop from Martin Moormann (89.).

Substitutions lifted the visitors' threat as Regan Charles-Cook and Jardell Kanga arrived from the bench, with Kanga's drive blocked amid a flurry of corners (78.).
