Always calm and collected in his analysis, Arsène Wenger gave his verdict after Barça's defeat in Sunday night's El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Last night, Real Madrid claimed a hard-fought El Clasico win over FC Barcelona (2-1) in La Liga. Throughout the match, Los Merengues played a tougher, more physical game. That's exactly what former manager Arsène Wenger highlighted on the beIN Sports set.
"El Clasico was a bit like a match of men against boys. Real Madrid's defensive display was far superior to Barcelona's. In attack, Madrid always looked capable of scoring, while Barcelona seemed powerless. They had plenty of possession, but never really looked like scoring," analyzed the former Arsenal coach.
