Bradley Barcola could make his Liverpool bow at Ipswich on Friday at 21:00, Andoni Iraola has suggested ahead of the Premier League fixture.

According to L'Équipe, the manager said the forward had trained well with the squad and, if Thursday's session went smoothly, he would be available on Friday.

Barcola, 24, arrived from PSG on Monday and became Liverpool's second most expensive signing, for a fee in excess of €140 million, behind Alexander Isak, who joined Newcastle in 2025.

Iraola said signing a top player for that role had been the club's priority, and he felt Barcola had come in with the right mindset.

The France international has 28 caps and 6 goals, and he has yet to play a minute this season.
