Braga have expressed interest in signing Palmeiras goalkeeper Kaique. According to Nosso Palestra, he was among the top performers in the Portuguese league with Nacional despite their battle against relegation.

With the European season winding down, several loanees are set to return to Palmeiras while they await offers to determine their futures. Palmeiras would like to keep Kaique long term in the senior group, but he is not expected to return as regular minutes appear unlikely.

The player and his representatives want him to continue playing consistently, ideally at a club of greater profile in Europe.

Elsewhere, defender Michel had his loan at Moreirense ended early, the club citing just cause due to absences from training.

Fellow centre-back Naves, a standout at Alverca, has received enquiries from Portuguese and Italian sides and is expected to be sold on a permanent deal by Palmeiras.
