Neymar is on the verge of making his much-anticipated comeback with the Brazilian national team.

At the end of the month, France will face Brazil on Thursday, March 26 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, just south of Boston. A match that could mark the return of the prodigal son, Neymar. Sidelined from the national squad due to injuries, the Seleção’s all-time top scorer (128 caps, 79 goals) has been pre-selected by Carlo Ancelotti for the upcoming international break’s friendlies.

The announcement was made by Globo, who pointed out that Neymar’s spot on the list—set to be revealed by the Italian coach next Monday—is not yet guaranteed. However, local media confirm that the former Real Madrid boss will attend Santos’ clash against Mirassol tomorrow night in the Brazilian Série A to closely monitor the iconic number 10.
