Brazil squad for October matches: one PSG player included

This Friday, Carlo Ancelotti, Brazil's coach, unveiled his list of players for the matches in October against South Korea (October 10) and Japan (October 14) as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Of the two Brazilians from Paris Saint-Germain, Marquinhos (31-year-old central defender) and Lucas Beraldo (21-year-old central defender); only the latter is called up.

It's logical for Marquinhos, who is injured. We were less certain about Beraldo's call-up, who is still more of a backup at PSG and with Brazil. He will evidently get his chance. We wish him to take advantage of it, without an injury.
